checked in to scarlet hotel for the weekend with the elites and we were 'pleasantly surprised' with some of the complimentary items they gave us. the room was small though, it was quite a *squeeeeze* with 9 people haha but it's always fun with the girls.. they'd rather talk than play poker!

i love love love the garlic shrimp pizza there.. shiook to the max! their happy hr was 3 glasses for the price of 2. not very happening la.. so we left for nana since wenzhi had a bottle there. it's damn different going at 10pm and 4am la.. only 3 tables were occupied. at 4am, you'll have to squeeze your way around.

we found an awesome place for drinks, the rooftop of helipad at central. it's breezy, amazing view overlooking clarke quay and it's 1 for 1 till 9pm! a mug of beer is $6! w0ot~ alot of points go to the place la, it's a nice setup to just chill out...

went to rebel for the $98 chivas and somehow stayed till 4am. sani bought another bottle and paul bought us 151 shots. the night ended with sani not being able to feel his cheeks (but 3 handphone numbers) and wenzhi making friends with the table next to us. i was starving to the max and staggered my way to the coffeeshop near my place, alone. how i found the courage to walk around my quiet lil' neighbourhood, i don't know. but i made it back home safe, finished my nasi lemak with fried chicken, nugget, fish fillet with a lot of chilli, showered and passed out.

and i find out today there's been 2 stabbing incidents in yishun, where i freaking stay!! psycho stabber has not been caught yet.. his victims were brutally stabbed in the face, back, hands, arms... fark man. time to unleash my karate/judo/taekwondo moves!!
went for the media preview of legion at suntec few weeks back. saw the trailer before that and it looked really impressive! was actually looking forward to it...... but it sucked. it was soooo bad... the only cool thing about it was probably the lead actor la.. he's cute and quite stylo. those bad-ass type.. i like!

so we had to have a drink to calm us down after such a disastrous movie. lo and behold! there was a bar just opposite so we ordered their house brewed beer and we were instantly restored. beer rocks la.





rozz held a party at cupid jewel store, orchard central on friday~ her brother ryan and his friend anders were spinning and we had free flow of champagne and small bites.. the store was huuge, it's their 2nd store in singapore and their biggest, showcasing a variety of jewellery... of which none i could afford.... bah!

i asked how much a plain white gold ring costs and it was about $1-$2K. yikes! but i saw one, really pretty solitaire-like with small diamonds on the sides for about $4K. gorgeous!! but then, i'd never spend that money on jewellery, rather get a bag!



we got a bottle of chivas which costs $244, quite ex but free flow of mixers. we were told there was gonna be a "havoc" show at 2am but it was just the guys parading on stage, waiting for someone to buy them a garland. if u get them a garland, they'll sit n drink with you so barry look-a-like aka DODO sat with us for awhile haha.

apparently  he's a mechanical engineering graduate.. right... he did tell us though that he can only take a days' leave when he gets $4000 worth of garlands. well... good luck dude!
been going to alot of thai discos recently, they somehow provide another sort of entertainment to us drinkers.. visually pleasing with the performances and outfits. and of coz, some of them are reaaally cute! the GIRLS especially.

yeap, I've finally left the 987fm building.

was on my way home from work when sue suggested monday drinks(!!!). called kim immediately to plan where n was googling "bars in toa payoh" since sue n lav stays the area and it's near my work place. of course, there isn't any bars in toa payoh (what was I thinking?) .....but there are many in thomson!!!!

sat myself in ming's pub where a few ah peks were playing pool. quite amusing. what led me there was their drinks on promo- 6btls of heineken for $35~ score!

kim, sue, lav, tza n shar came soon after and it was a really awesome time catching up with the girls I grew up with, since primary school!!

and the black label was selling for $113! that's damn cheap la. ming's pub rocks man.. the service there was impeccable too, definitely going back there again!
met me little bro for drinks on friday night and he brought me to this karaoke place, on the second floor of a bar which needs some secret code to enter.

quite cool especially since can smoke inside and they have the latest songs in original videos, not those kind taken at east coast park. almost lost my voice screaming to all the linkin park songs.

there were 5 of us and within the 2 hours I was there, we had 4 bottles of Martell. madness.. royce can reaaaally drink man.

he doesn't smoke but I guess he was high and wanted a puff.. drinking and smoking just goes well together la..

past midnight, I was woo~ing my way to zouk with s and j. had more drinks and danced the night away. it was quite a blur. met some friends, made new ones n went home.

sat was spent watching heroes (finished volume four!!), went to cuscaden at chijmes for some beer, headed to butter but the vip queue was taking toooo long so we left for zouk.

slept in the whole sunday, woke up to watch some movies and was too lazy to eat. m so fucking hungry now!!!!

celebrated shaaz's birthday at siglap last night. thinking it was a chill out night, i came in shorts but we ended up at ratchada, a thai disco at heeren after 1 1/2 btls of macallan.

had another btl at ratchada. so much for chilling out.. but it was fun. the girls and guys are hotter, they have better outfits and the music was solid! I thought sabai sabai was awesome but this is better!!!

I wanna go again!!!!!!

we went to a fashion show event held in a penthouse of the sail, at marina boulevard. place was awesome.. it was huuge, had a pool at the rooftop and an AMAZING VIEW! it apparently costs 15 million dollars for that apartment and the owner apparently has another unit at the other side of the sail and in sentosa. rich or whaaaaat..






we had christmas lunch in the office, along the corridor and ordered 3 giant pizzas (21 inches for $45 each), 4 pastas and some side dishes from pepperonis at greenwood. it was damn shiok la. i super like diavola, the pepperoni pizza just that it's damn oily. hawaii pizza was ok (not a fan of pineapples la) and the frutti di mare pizza was alright, just slightly fishy. think it'll be better as pasta.

for pastas we had aglio olio (shiok!), carbonara (don't like cream base), funghi & pollo (not bad!) and bolognese (yeaaah!) and we ordered some side dishes too like calamari and chicken wings. there was sooo much food, we kinda over-ordered la haha and there were wines, vodkas and beers too. am quite sure i gained 2 kgs just from that night.


somehow managed to renew my membership at powerhouse. shiok. it was expired 2 years ago but they still have my details in the system and renewed it immediately. yay!~ it was of good use yesterday to sign tza (punk), silver (surfer) and (shee) shar in to movida. we wanted to go powerhouse at first but it was freaking packed mann..

am on leave till 3jan!! time for that much desired rest. but i've to go office at 5plus later to bring some wavehouse DJs in for a studio interview to talk about the siloso beach party. oh yes, am working on 31dec. how nice..

i've only known them recently through C, as edward is his 'bro' after going through NS together in ARMOUR (i have to caps the word coz they're very proud to be in it). anyway, i've only hung out with them a few times but they are sucha sweet couple and am very very happy for them. they've been together about 4 years.. kinda look alike too!


had work last wednesday at a carlsberg event as muttons were broadcasting live from balaclava. it is for their festive campaign, granting mike teo his new year wishes and we got to preview 2 of them - roller disco girls and a beer fountain! of course, there were free flow carlsberg and finger food.. thanks MIKE!

almost didn't make it la. was kinda hangover-ed and super tired from work in the afternoon. sooo tempted to just sleep in but i persevered. free flow from 8-10pm! who in the right mind would miss that? it would be unacceptable!


kena heartburn for abit then. greedy me drank and ate too fast hahah there weren't many people there so service was good and attentive. they replenished my drink (double shot whiskey) upon seeing it almost finished and changed my drink immediately when there was a fly swimming in it, even when free flow was over. awesomeeee... 

another plus was that the portable toilets behind the media tent were still unused and smelled nice (SCORE!).

it was the launch of the 'upgrade' side of the magazine cum xmas party last night at movida, st james so there were many hot santarinas and bacardi apple sprite flowing.. quite shiok, the drink. can't remember how many we had. it's a lil' sweet, smooth n u barely taste the alcohol.. so yah. fun night! :D

the bro-watch team bought me an awesome DVD player!!!! it comes with USB link so I can watch those series justin has sweetly helped to download- season 5 of how I met your mother and season 6 of entourage!!! sweeeeeeet~

i got in to work to an awesome surprise, my birthday present came in today- a PRADA clutch!!!

it is soooo beautiful~ i have a thing for bags and this is exactly what I wanted to bring out for weddings/ events. it is in the perfect size too! so I can bring my makeup, camera, phone, cigs, wallet etc etc etc.. love it!!! <3

it's from my dearest colleagues, they're the best! I'm usually the one planning their birthday surprise (I'm how planner) so it's good to know they appreciate what i do n gave a little more than the usual..

saw this posted on the wall of udders, an ice cream shop at novena. cute eh? had the hazel's nut and baileys&bourbon which was alright.. but I'm biased, I think the best ice cream is ben & jerry's!

had bak kut teh with don, soo & co. at founders bkt just opposite balestier plaza, (near the overhead bridge) and it has to be the best one ever!!! sure, there are other good ones at river valley and balestier but this is seriously the best!! the meat so tender, the soup so tastyyy~!! craving for it now already..

played rockband at donzie's after that. he practically has ALL the rockband versions la! got dunno what pop one, lego, etc etc etc.. we played songs from spice girls to taylor swift to boys like girls to queen hahaha it was alot of fun man! I so want to get rockband!!! but I don't even have a tv now.. sigh. anyone got lobang for cheap tv?

paul's back in sg for his grandfather's funeral till monday!! it was good to see him after sooo long..

met him at ikea tampines where I got my tv table and he sweetly helped to carry it ard (also coz if he didn't, it'll look like he's a slave driver muahaha) and how could he let a poor little girl carry a table on her own?

went to alex ang's restaurant, basil alcove at fortune centre for some 1 for 1 beers till 8pm and the food there is amaaazingg!! paul had duck and it was really REALLY good.. it's like fine dining food at a reasonable price!

singapore flyer invited us for a sky dining experience last night. had the whole cabin to ourselves and we were served appetizers, main course and wineeee.. 

dinner for 2 apparently costs $200 and a private capsule costs $1500. food was great- I had cod but the beef cheeks were really good!

they serve delicious South Asian influenced contemporary European cuisine. the place is very nicely decorated and i must say, it has a pretty awesome toilet! it had perfumes, colognes, lotions, cotton bud and.. sanitary pads!

winner is 40year old mohamed anuar, and he very much deserves it. nice guy, always greet you with a smile and hello.. was hoping he'd win too! his time is 77hrs 43mins, didn't break last years record but it really is an amazing feat, beating 399 other hopefuls.

btw, thanks to those who msged regarding my last entry. I guess it was a bad week and I couldn't manage the stress well. didn't have enough sleep and there were so many things going on. am really thankful to those who showed their concern, esp colleagues who said not to be bothered by people who are unimportant to the company. how true..

ive learnt that u can't please everyone.. why bother with people who are meaningless to you?

it's upsetting to know that all your efforts and hard work are not appreciated and if people don't recognize it, you don't deserve them. better off without 'em I say!
have never been one to cry when it comes to work, but yesterday took it's toll.

I don't wanna go into it, but it affected me quite a bit. it made me question why I do what I do, for other people's benefit too but get slapped, sucker punched and upper cut instead. not even a thanks.

but our stay in angsana bintan was awesome. service was top notch, it was truly a pleasant experience. highlight of the trip was the angsana spa (the best massage I've ever had), sponsored by justin ang (thank you!!!).

we had beach games like tug of war n had to build a raft of floats n bamboo poles. of course, my team won (ahem!). and we went on the atv rides and banana boat, which was fun at first but it wasn't fun anymore when we capsized the 2nd time. not easy to climb back up man!

that's what caused the body aches i guess, my body's not used to the vigorous activities..

doc said it's gastritis (something to do with the stomach lining), gave me some med (that was absolutely awful- had to b the most bitter shit ever!) n I feel slightly better now.

I'm gonna bring the med to work tmr n let my colleagues try. I kid u not, it is by far the worst medicine I've ever had. E tastes sweet in comparison.

anyway, the boy's mum cooked curry for us today. I love her curry! super shiok. suggested the boy to learn from his mum and she said "you should learn from me, not caesar!"

they offered us some drinks (how to say no right? it's not polite!) and handed us some drink coupons (score!).

after some beers, champagnes n whisky drys, i was quite mabok n grooving to every song. almost banged the gents toilet when 'low' from flo rida came on to hurry the boy out.

hahah fat basterd is the name of this burger.. it's pretty good! comes with double patty, double bacon, egg n their homemade bbq sauce. available at FATBOYS, upper thomson rd, next to liquid kitchen. nice place to chillout too!

but i still think the best burger in sg is the SUNSHINE BURGER! a must try!!

but nick was arrogant, didn't seem bothered to b there.. AJ's hot, howie's good looking, brian's cute and nick just plain sucks!

their new album is still very boy bandish though. at this age, not something I'd listen to.

but it was great to see the 987fm winner really excited to meet the boys, she even came dressed up as the 5th member n performed for them. :)
perth was AWESOME! thanks to the boy who knew where to go and what to do. 12 days of awesomeness.. hahhah we practically drank everyday. it's $40 per carton of beer = 24 btls, which is $1+ per btl. coke/water is $2+.. might as well drink beer right?? we had 9 cartons in total.. muahaha..

anyway, we got our flight (on jetstar) for $300 each. thought it was super cheap till the lady next to us said she got hers for $160! basket.. but no complaints la, 5hrs went by without any trouble.. just a sore bum.

we had vip tickets so it was a great view from where we were.. and free food!

went to batam for the weekend recently. no agenda, just to getaway from the social norm and drink, chill, drink, eat, drink and drink. the ferry ticket was $45 from tanah meral ferry terminal and it took abt 45 mins.. which was mostly spent sleeping (see below). so glam, love the subtle mouth open look justin!

bought a lot of beer from the batam ferry terminal. can't remember how much it was but i know it was hella cheap.. prob $1 a can? we also had 2 btls of johnny walker and 5 of us smoked menthol so we shared a carton which was abt $20. WE WERE ALL SET MAN!!

we stayed at nongsa point marina and the lobby was impressive! looked pretty high-end, there were yachts parked outside all.. denny booked us a 3 bedroom villa for $330, usual price $450++ (great job den!)

spent the afternoon by the pool area playing drinking games. there were 3 of us girls. it was a tough fight but we persevered and won the boys NUMEROUS times.. ha! here's evidence- they had to light up our cigarettes for us as penalty. we girls rock! muahaha..




we were drinking again on sunday.. so much for refusing to touch another drop of alcohol the previous night haha! we still had alcohol left and the beers were on sale! might as well right??
